Mentone Aquarium has proudly been a family owned and operated business for almost 40 years. Started by Bill Bertram in a small shop in Highett, the business eventually outgrew those premises and moved to our current location in Mentone where we have expanded to become one of the largest retail aquariums in Victoria.

We pride ourselves on having a great team of dedicated and experienced staff who are as passionate about their animals as you are. We stock a huge range of products and can help anyone create the perfect aquarium from novices through to experienced hobbyists. 

We aim to provide the best stock at the best prices with the best service. This includes offering affordable custom made tanks, by building them onsite we can keep prices low for our customers. We aim to have the widest variety of marine fish, coral and tropical fish and receive new stock every week. We also supply everything you need to keep snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs, scorpions, spiders and insects.
